It's that time of year when the grapes are harvested and there's a festival for wine that's almost, but not quite, ready. Timi's parents invite us to join them on their outing to the Gumpoldskircher, a famous wine region in Austria. Why not? It's our second day in town, we arrived safely, so we have plenty to cheer about. Aren't these vineyards marvelous? I can already see the hide and seek potential.

It's a gorgeous walk to our spot. It's 75 degrees and sunny. Weatherwise, it's one of my best welcomes to Austria.

This is wine? Well, nevermind. Timi's dad say it's alcoholic, so I guess I'll drink it.

The boys find a few playmates in the vines.

Peter and Opa, the engineer, discuss the reason for a radio tower on a nearby mountain.

The kids make rock houses, and

Parker digs it.
