Is this Neverland?

After school we head down the block to the playground in Türkenschanzpark, a typical Viennese park filled with sandboxes, jungle gyms, rope swings, castles, fountains, duck ponds and restaurants. There's a skateboard park bordered by Poplars, and a hilly course for tykes on scooters. As we sat on a bench in front of a fountain Peter pinches me and says, "Vienna's kind of like Neverland Mama?" He has a point.

Like father like son. I think Peter is pantomiming how he'd climb this giant tree.

Around the corner we have another thing-y to climb...it spins too

And voila! A long, slide that snakes down from a little hill.

Time to practice our letters...

Why not hold class under the tower.

Parker's found some boulders to straddle. "Mama, this de Brooklyn Bridge." Sure, why not. In Neverland, anything is possible kiddo.
